My name is Jenny Freedman, and I am a graphic designer & artist originally from Bethesda, MD currently residing in Albany, NY. I have considered art a serious passion since seventh grade and explored with many different mediums — from screen-printing to animation to bookbinding — since then. In May 2023, I earned my B.S. in Studio Art with a Digital Media concentration and my B.A. in Sociology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Crafting Compelling Visual Narratives

I have a dedication to promoting social change and radical empathy, specifically in terms of mass incarceration, destructive gender norms, and the increasing political divide. My hope is that these values come through in my artwork. I love to hear different interpretations of one work, as we all ascribe a different meanings to truly complex pieces.

I currently work as a Graphic Designer and Laser Engraver at Goldilocks Promos in Latham, NY. We design and create custom apparel and promotional products for other local businesses. Outside of work, I love to rock climb, hike in the Adirondacks, read thrillers and romance books, go to thrift stores, and craft with friends.
